Tish I was given a tip on cleaning paste machines at our last tech tour, take the machine to one of those local wash your own car places, and spray down the paste machine with the sprayer, it really works great even on dried paste, Rick

Sometimes when I get to drinking real bad I forget to clean the thang and it might set in the back of the truck for days. I just take my sprayer which already had safe and simple in it and spray down the machine. I fill it up with water and let it soak for a beer or three (not really necessary) then just spray it out with a hose. The Paste Mate's rollers lift out easily and lay in the lid till the rest is clean and reassembled. I sometimes celebrate by drinking a beer. Robert in Thomasville
